MEET CHÉ TOLENTINO

My journey into skincare started with my own skin struggles. What began as a personal search for answers quickly turned into a passion, and for the last 12 years, I have dedicated myself to corrective skincare and helping others feel confident in their skin.

 

I started by working from home, taking clients one by one, and quickly realized that acne correction and melanated skin were where my heart truly lived. Melanated skin has often been labeled as “challenging” in the industry, but I welcomed that challenge. I became deeply focused on correction, results, and understanding skin beyond surface level treatments.

 

As my work grew, so did my business. What first began as Pretty Pretty Skin evolved into Premier Pretty Skin during the trademarking process. From there, I built a team, expanded into larger spaces, and eventually operated from a retail location. Through every phase, one thing remained the same, my passion for real transformation.

 

Over the years, I have worked with clients from all over the world, with people traveling from places like Nigeria, Canada, and across the United States to experience my corrective approach. I have also had the opportunity to teach and mentor estheticians, nurses, and medical professionals through online education, sharing the methods and progressive techniques that have become a signature part of my work.

 

Today, I have returned to what matters most, keeping things focused, and deeply personal. While building a team was a meaningful chapter, I have condensed back to my roots, myself, my assistant, and a hands on approach centered around correction, education, and results.

One thing I believe is that years in the industry only matter if you continue to grow within them. Many people speak about experience as a badge of honor, and while experience absolutely matters, it can also become a reason people stay stuck in outdated methods or old ways of thinking.

What I love most about myself is that I am always evolving. I am constantly learning, refining, and adapting to the advancements that continue to shape the skincare industry. While my foundation and corrective approach remain strong, I never believe I know it all. I welcome innovation, education, and new techniques that allow me to better serve my clients and stay aligned with what truly works.

For me, growth is part of the process. I believe in keeping an open mind, staying curious, and understanding that true mastery comes from being willing to evolve, not from staying comfortable in what you have always known.

Experience matters, but I believe it carries the most value when it is paired with evolution. I take pride in staying curious, staying informed, and continuing to grow with an industry that is always changing. LOVE WHAT I DO!!!!
